[REVIEW] Banilla co Claypatra Mineral Salt Clay Pack

Hi everyone!

So while I was in Korea, my mom left me alone to have a cup of coffee so I walked aimlessly up and down the streets.  I found a Banilla co and decided to go in.

I think the girl took me as a foreigner and attempted to let me know what everything was and tried to get me to buy stuff.  Her English wasn't that great but the thing the bothered me the most was that she would follow me around the store while I was trying to look at other products on my own.  I understand that maybe I might have needed help at some point but personal space please!

I felt a bit pressured if I didn't buy anything and the store was pretty empty.  So, I decided to buy this Mineral Salt Clay Pack.

The pack was 14,000 won so around $14 CAD

I personally think that it's kind of expensive for a pack in Korea and I think it's a bit pricey too for a pack in Canada.

A little size chart here - the box is a bit longer than a bobby pin

So a little warning beforehand.  The whole box (minus the parts shown above) are in Korean.  So, I didn't understand a lot.. I should probably ask my friend for translations :P.

They couldn't spell ingredients right..

Uh..history of the dead sea and Cleopatra?

I don't know what this says here..

Un-boxing time!

Since there are no english instructions at all, I decided that I would wash my face and dry it, then apply a thin/thick layer on my face and wait for 15-20 minutes.

The pack itself is very smooth and clay-like.  If you have ever taken a pottery class, this is the feeling of clay with water - smooth and a bit firm.  There are some exfoliation pieces in there (I'm guessing salt or rock..?) .  Overall, it feels pretty good putting it on my face.

So after the 15 minutes of lying there doing nothing, I rinse it off and I probably should have tried rubbing it in and exfoliating my face with the salts provided.  Oh well!

To be honest, I didn't see much that happened on my face.. I saw more on my hand to be honest.  I applied the mask on my hand to demonstrate what the texture was like in a picture somewhere here.  After a few minutes, I washed it off and compared my two hands together.  I noticed that the masked one was much whiter and less red.
So, judging from this, I guess the mask was partially successful.

Below is me trying to capture the texture of the mask.  Grainy clay-like texture, soft/firm.

In conclusion, I don't think I would buy this again.  If money wasn't a factor, I would still not buy it because it didn't work well on me.  As I always say, I think I would like to try out new packs before I come to a conclusion or before I buy it again.

Thank you very much for reading!
