[REVIEW] Skin Food Honey Pot Lip Balm

Hi everyone!

I've had this lip balm for a really long time now and I still haven't used it all!  I remember I bought it because it was absolutely adorable (and it still is)!

Very cute packaging as it looks like a honey pot and has a wooden honey stick!  Without the stick, I'm not sure if it would be the same.  It also helps a bunch because it gives me just enough to coat my lips.  If I use my finger, it gets too messy and I always have excess lip balm on my finger.

I think that the lip balm was around $5 CAD, I don't remember as I bought it a long time ago..

허니팟 만다린
Honey Pot Mandarin
-I guess that means it's mandarin coloured?  It tastes kinda mandarin-like too I guess..

I really like looking at the colour - I think it's a peachy red colour when concentrated.  However, on the lips, it is really just clear gloss.

It is not very nourishing so I would definitely apply moisturizing lip balm before putting this on.

As you can see I only used a little bit..

It almost looks like honey!  Minus the colour..

A small scoop does the trick!

A swatch on my hand.  As you can see, it looks like clear gloss with the tiniest amount of pink.

The gloss on my lips.  It makes my lips look fuller and lighter in colour!

In conclusion, I don't think I would buy this again.  It takes me forever to use and I think I would prefer using Tony Moly's Berry Lip Balm (I did a review here).
The Tony Moly lip balm actually has visible colour on my lips but maybe I should see if both of them look good together..

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this review!

Thanks for reading and as always,

Melissa
